EcoSoch and Plugzmart have come together for the very first installation of an EV charger right here at SMR Vinay Galaxy Apartment, Hoodi, Bangalore in the month of April. We are delighted to collaborate with Plugzmart who are one of the leading charger manufacturers in India, delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions. 

Highlights of the project –

It is a highly customised product. A single charger provides three charging provisions as:

1. Type 2 connector (IEC-62196) – for 4 wheelers
2. 15 A universal socket (AC 001) – for 2 and 4 wheelers 
3. 15 A universal socket (AC 001) – for 2 and 4 wheelers 

With a single visit by the technical team EcoSoch was able to acquire a suitable place which was not only easily accessible by all the residents but also closest to the main electrical panel board to make the installation cost effective. Most importantly, spare load availability to connect additional 14 kW load was adhered to in order to avoid any penalty for over usage.

After completing the audit, EcoSoch team made a design drawing which was shared with commercial proposal to the client. It took 2 days of site work to complete the installation as this included cutting of the tarred road for cable laying work. The team installed a circuit breaker at the existing common area meter panel and a distribution box with protection devices for three simultaneous charging provisions. Finally, an instruction board was fixed to make it as user friendly as possible.

CMS (charging management software) has been provided to the RWA to assess usage by the residents and monitor payment flow with guaranteed reimbursement within 24 hours. Plugzmart has also provided 1 year free maintenance service with fulfilment by the Ecosoch team.

Users can scan the QR code and start charging their vehicle with the Plugzmart application that is available on Google play store. The application comes with the real time update, pre booking, payment by the wallet and obtaining invoices instantly and more attractive features.

This is the beginning of many such EV projects lined up towards building an EV ready city with Plugzmart.
