3 kWp Solar Roof-Top Hybrid System for a beautiful house located in the heart of Bangalore- Koramangala. To have minimum dependence on the Grid\BESCOM a 3 kWp Hybrid System with Battery Backup was chosen.

The System helps in reduction of electricity bills by supplying back to BESCOM the Excess solar power(if any) in the day time and the batteries provide the necessary backup during power cut hours ensuring that there are no black out situations on the house. The priorities of the working of the system is set such that the Solar Power takes the first priority, Grid the second priority and Batteries kick-in only during a power cut in the non-solar hours.

To minimize the wastage of space, Solar Panels are installed on a special structure designed over a staircase to the roof-top ensuring that the staircase is well protected and also that the whole roof-top is available for roof-top gardening.

To ensure a system of high quality and higher lifetime: Inverters from STUDER Innotec and VRLA Maintenance Free Batteries from Amara Raja were used in this project.
