This university in Tamil Nadu with exorbitant electricity bills decided to go for Solar on their rooftops. This project is done in two phases on two different buildings. 118.8kW in the first phase and 95kW in the later stage. In this system, Solar Edge power optimizers are used instead of string inverters to yield high generation than expected using string inverters.

Power Optimizers help in yielding more power with the help of modular level MPP tracking. Then the maximum output from these optimizers is connected to a master inverter. In this system, it is possible to do module-level monitoring making it simple for maintenance.
